Hi everyone ! I'm new to the website and I thought I would share my experience with the Pearson Vue trick. After reading countless discussion forums about the new update and how the PVT was taking 200 dollars and giving bad pop-ups to people who were actually passing I was skeptical! I recently tested on June 29, 2016. I had 75 questions and had tested for about 2 and 1/2 hours. After reaching the blue screen and filling out the survey I did not know what to think! I've always heard cutting off at 75 questions meant you were doing really well or really bad, unfortunately. I knew I had studied really hard but there were still questions I had no idea and medications I had never seen before. There were a lot of SATA. I had no drag/drop, hot spot, or audio questions which I thought was weird. After going home and I couldn't sleep that night, I decided to give in and do the trick the next morning . (This was about 15 hours after the test ended) I heard it is more accurate after 24 hours. So I went to the Pearson Vue website and after signing in I went through the process of registration again. So I put in all my school information and credit card information. I used a VALID credit card with the WRONG expiration date. After hitting submit, I got the good pop up ! " Our records have indicated that you have already scheduled this exam". So this took some relief off but I was still skeptical and was afraid to try again and see something different. So I had nothing else left to do but to wait for the quick results. The LONGEST 48 hours ever ! So I decided to go out that day and when I came back, I checked to see if my results were posted before the 48 hours.. still nothing. So something told me to just go ahead and check MBON... and there it was! My name with my license number ! I was officially a nurse .. I could not believe it. I passed in 75 questions! that exam left me with so much uncertainty and I had finally accomplished my goals ! I had never read about MBON posting license number before Pearson Vue but I guess it can happen ! and then of course once the 48 hours was over I paid the 7.95 and saw PASS and reality set in that I did it !

I took the exam June 17th and didn't hear back till june 30th! Almost 2 weeks! LVN took 3 weeks as well. My transcripts are what held up the wait. Talk about gut wrenching waiting that long, ugh. But I did the trick at 12 hours, 24, 48, and then 1 week and it was the good pop up. I haven't heard of it not working yet from anyone personally. California needs to jump on the quick results bandwagon, seriously. They can charge 20 dollars and make massive profit for the state!
