Pearson Vue Trick.... Really?!

Published

Hello to all, so I took my NcLEX this am, and it stopped me at 85 questions, with only 3 meds and about 6 SATA... I tried the PVT and got the good pop up, but here's the thing, although I did think the exam was HARD, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting... So I'm scared that this means I didn't pass! Help! Oh, btw, I did the Kaplan program and studied like crazy... Don't know what to think, please advice!

Good luck with your official results.

Hey! I took mine today too! I had 75 questions and used Kaplan. My Qbank average was a 62 and Kaplan def prepared me for the exam. I did the trick and I saw the good pop up and I was pretty confident leaving the exam! Good luck and congrats.

Omg, I wish I can say the same after I take mine tomorrow...:)

i just took mine today, and i also tried the PVT trick and got a good pop up. You are so very lucky. I ended up with only 75 questions, but 22 SATA questions! I'm really afraid i fubared all those SATAs, so i hope the PVT does work and help allay my anxiety.

You should wait for your Official results. My friend got the Pop up and fail the exam once she got her results. Go hang out with your friends and enjoy life. Get your mind of the test.

Try to relax and not think about the answers too hard. That's what I did:) believe in your self, u'll see tomorrow u will b wondering about the good pop up too, lol

This is the first I've ever heard of the PVT being wrong, lol, but your right, I need to relax either way!

Sheesh, I know what u mean, I think the SATA are definitely the hardest! That was good that u got the good pop up, let's just pray it works for us too!

I was talking to a friend who thought that the LPN exam was harder. I have also heard from people that say that the NCLEX was not as hard as they were expecting. I try to remember this as I prepare to take the test, to help allay test anxiety. (btw, I am studying like crazy though!) Jane

Took mine today as well. It cut off at 75 questions. It sucks when you know that is the minimum amount of questions because you look up at the 75th question and your heart races as you push next. I took Kaplan as well. I did 100 percent of their Q-bank questions, 65 on Diagnostic, 69 on Readiness, 67s on QTs 6-7. I felt like Kaplan was EXACTLY like NCLEX. I also had the new Saunders. I would advice people to do Kaplan with Saunders. Take Kaplan's questions and review the content with the Saunder's book. I had pictures that I had to identify and 2 SATA that involved clicking on a patient's chart . Overall, I felt like I have gone over everything that was on the NCLEX and Kaplan just reinforced it. I got the good pop up too but I won't celebrate until I see my name on the BON website. I felt like I studied making the NCLEX way more than it is. My advice to others is to not forget to reinforce what you already think you know. Good luck to us on our official results :heartbeat
