Pearson Vue Trick.... Really?!

Hello to all, so I took my NcLEX this am, and it stopped me at 85 questions, with only 3 meds and about 6 SATA... I tried the PVT and got the good pop up, but here's the thing, although I did think the exam was HARD, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting... So I'm scared that this means I didn't pass! Help! Oh, btw, I did the Kaplan program and studied like crazy... Don't know what to think, please advice!

yeh same here i took kaplan review with the actual classes. I scored similarly to u but i dont think i ever got a 100 on their exams. My final readiness exam i got a 73. I've asked and asked people who have taken the NCLEX if it was comparable to any of the different computer programs such as Kaplan, Saunders, Lippincott, ATI, etc. and no one can give me a clear answer. Well i can say for myself now that the Kaplan questions are at par with NCLEX. Saunders and all the others were really easy.

Congrats on passing ur boards, do u know of anyone in the palm beach, fl area that knows how to teach test taking techniques for the nclex LPN boards. Can someone please give feed back. Thank u.

Thanks for the input, does the kaplan has lpn online class as well.

I didn't get 100 on their exams, I did 100 percent of the exams, lol. But I feel the same way, most people told me Kaplan was way harder than NCLEX and that it was harder than Saunders. I felt like NCLEX was just like Kaplan. My problem with Saunders is that some info is not in their book, or they don't into important facts about it. After taking NCLEX I looked in my Saunders book to check questions that were burning my soul and Saunders did not even list the disease! Plus some of Saunders test questions don't correlate with their book. It was a good resource to have but I am glad I didn't use only them.

i just took mine today, and i also tried the PVT trick and got a good pop up. You are so very lucky. I ended up with only 75 questions, but 22 SATA questions! I'm really afraid i fubared all those SATAs, so i hope the PVT does work and help allay my anxiety.

I thought I was the only one that got about a third of the questions as SATA! How did you end up doing? I took mine today (75 q's) and I'm kinda freaking out.

Just a quick update, the PVT does work, I checked online with my BON and my name is on their site alIng with my license number! I used only Kaplan the class and online resources to study, and studied real hard or about a mOnth and a half b4 my exam. I truly do feel that Kaplan prepared me, I honestly thinkthat the questions were harder than NCLEX! I honestly recommend it;) Good luck to all those taking it!!!!

Same exact thing here, checked today and I am on the board of nursing site. It only took 24 hours to get my results :heartbeat. I did Kaplan hard too and I found NCLEX too be exactly like them! Goodluck to everyone taking it, and congrats to us who passed :nurse:

well unfortunately i applied for california, so quick results isnt available and i have to wait (i've been told) 3-5 days. I checked today and my name still hasn't popped up at cali bon. from what i hear satas are higher difficulty questions so those are passing questions. i did get one question twice - first as a SATA then reappeared as a multiple choice question.

I took the test on Monday August 1, 2011... Got home about twenty minutes later and did the PVT and received this pop up "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I did this at least fifteen times between 8-1-11 and 8-2-11. Well, I just checked my state's BON (8-3-11) and I'm officially an RN!!!!!!!! So, I would definitely say that the trick works!!!! I mean, it's only logical that you wouldn't be able to re-register if you passed!!!! Good luck to all those either waiting for their results or getting ready to take the exam!!!!!! I can say, this PVT REALLY put my mind at ease because I had like over 20 SATA and no dosage, or any "easy questions" for that matter and the computer shut off at 75!!!!!! Don't panic if you keep getting SATA.... like one of my college professors used to tell us during school, "JUST BREATHE"!!!!!!!:dancgrp:
