Hi everyone, so I just finished my NCLEX for the first time. I got 75 questions but feel really bad about it because I finished it in about an hour. I feel like that is too short of a time to utilize critical thinking skills and be able to think through the questions.
I tried the Pearson Vue Trick about an hour after I finished. And got the "good pop-up," so I felt a little more confident about my exam. An hour later I tried it again, and I got the "bad pop-up." I tried it a few more times and got the bad pop-up the next few times I tried it. I know that the PVT isn't 100%, but has this ever happened to anyone? Just wondering because I haven't heard any stories about anyone's PVT results changing. I feel like I should've stopped checking it after the first "good pop-up" because now I feel so nervous.

Did you actually submit a payment?
If you're using an expired card, then the results may not be accurate especially before 24 hours.
I typed in all the correct info, but did not submit it. I used a debit card that is not expired, but does not work anymore (it has been inactivated). Does that still make a difference?
Yeah it does make a difference, you actually have to submit the payment.
If you're going to use a questionable card don't bother for you may get inaccurate results.

The "pop ups" are only achieved by entering and submitting payment. If you never clicked submit twice for payments then you did the trick wrong.
It's more likely to be inaccurate before the second QC scoring is complete.
Please define what you think are the "good" and "bad pop up" if you are using an invalid card you may get a screen asking you to submit valid payment information

Okay I submitted payment, and it gave me a note saying "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam..." This is the good pop-up right?
Yes. Has it been >24hours? Does your state participate in quick results? PVT is a trick exploiting a registration glitch. Quick results are accurate as are listing your license on the BoN website.

I finished my NCLEX in about 40 minutes. Don't knock yourself just because you may finish something fast.
And yes, that is the good popup. Congrats.

Did you pass?
I took it at 8 am this morning, and have been getting the good pop-up so I'm hopeful. However, my quick results are not yet available on the Pearson Vue website. I will check again tomorrow morning and keep you updated!
