Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

the point is you are being taken to the credit card page. the first pop up you saw means the board is still checking your answers. you have to make.sure that the board says these magic words "our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. another registration cannot be made at this time" . its okay just relax take.a deep breath, let your anger and disappointment out. remember DABDA? and just take the exam again. its not easy but you can do it..don't give up hope. good luck to you.

Trick works, got the "good" pop-up and passed.

Hi,

Is there anyone who has tried PV tricks but a bad pop still pass? I took LVN 3 weeks ago but it let me log in and went to the payment page, I heard that it is a sign of failure :crying2:, please advise thanks.

My daughter took the Nclex - RN on Thursday, July 15, 2010, she got 264 (yes, 264) questions, and felt like she failed miserably. (I felt the same way 10 years earlier.) She came home and did the PVT and got the good pop-up. We found out this morning that she passed. The Pearsonvue trick worked for her!! She is now a BSN, RN!! Yippee!!! Good luck to everyone else!!:yeah::jester:

I couldn't thank this "trick" enough for keeping my sanity for the 48 hours after my NCLEX! it really does work!!!

Adpie, why don't you skip the two-weeks mental torture of waiting for the result and find out the result already. You have the Pearson Vue account username and password. It takes 2 minutes to find out----save yourself 8 dollars and do yourself the favor of mental relief.

Good luck to all the other candidates waiting for their result! I pray hope and trust that we all pass someday. Congratulations on the passers.

Yes i agree to you because i took the test friday and did the trick it went to cc page,so i am assuming that i falied. BON that i applied for dont participate in quick result..so i guess better luck next time.

Congratulations! I took it Thursday as well. Would you mind telling me which state? Thanks.

Georgia. We do not have the official results from the BON just the results from Pearson that you have to pay $7.95 for.

it said there is an open registration at this time....one cannot be created...but it said delivery successful, and now i am able to go to the credit card page. I am already preparing that i failed, just so depressed....

i had this intially at first but i was doing the pvt wrong. i did not go to the right sign in on the second line. once i followed the correct steps step by step good pop up and i passed it worked for me.

Give yourself the benefit of the doubt until you receive your official results.

I got the good pop up a few hours after I took my test (7/13) and have been logging on the pv website every once in awhile to do the trick again (hoping it doesn't change status'). It has put my mind at ease to know that this has worked for many 99% if not 100% of the time. It is just so frustrating to see that some folks in CA have their name on the BRN website when they took their test later than I have, is there a reason why some names appear later then others'?
