Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--

3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took the NCLEX-PN exam today. I had prepared for the exam for three weeks, just to get the shock of my life. The exam had too many meds more than i expected. i cried the whole way home. My friend talked to me about the PVT. I tried it and i got the "good pop".(it relieved my anxiety big time) As per the reviews i have read, i am praying and hoping that i passed.
This time yesterday I was looking through this same post hoping this trick was tried and true. I took my NCLEX RN for the first time this past Monday on 8/8/2011. The awful blue screen of death came up after I answered my 75th question. My heart sank because after that last question I couldn't tell whether I passed or failed. I was a nervous wreck Tuesday and yesterday. Even my 2 year old son was telling me to relax.
I searched the internet for postings of the liklihood that I passed with only 75 questions. The only thing that put my mind at ease was this post. I did the trick and I didn't get through to the credit card page, but I was still really uneasy. At 3:30 yesterday I found out that I indeed passed.
Good luck all you new grads and future NCLEX takers. Even if this trick doesn't work for everyone, if nothing else it will put your mind at ease.
Well...one week and counting for my results in my wonderful state of California...wonder how long it will take? I to received the good pop up...so I'm holding my breathe until I receive confirmation from the state via snail mail. The good pop has been the only thing that has kept me from going bonkers, I just hope its true. Good Luck to everyone who is still awaiting results. :)
It actually worked!!! I thought for sure that I failed taking the NCLEX on Wednesday. I went home and tried the PVT and it came up with the good pop up. Then I tried it again this morning and the good pop up came up again. It gave me hope and then a little later I went on the PA state board website and it gave me my license number!!! Good luck to everyone that still needs to take it or is waiting for results to come back.

Ok, so maybe someone asked this already and I missed it. I took the NCLEX-PN test this morning. The test shut off with the minimum 85 questions. I just did the Pearson Vue trick and got the "good" pop-up. How accurate is this trick? I just am a bit afraid to get my hopes up!
