Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

This "trick" was accurate for me. I took the NCLEX-RN in June and had the credit card page, and sure enough, I failed... Just re-took today and got the pop-up, so I feel pretty confident that I passed. I have had a few nursing student friends that went to the CC page but actually passed, but haven't heard of any "pop-ups" that failed.. Hope this helps!

I just recently had a friend tell me she was prompted to the CC page and passed. I think you have to wait until it says delivery successful and then go from there. I got the pop up but am still so nervous..UGH  But the fact that you havent heard of anyone failing with the pop up helps... :) thanks!

Hello everyone. I actually found out about this trick Sunday afternoon just one day before I took the NCLEX-PN. My friend and I booked our tests together and went in yesterday afternoon. Both of our computers shut off at 85 ?'s. I was totally convinced that I had failed cuz looking up ? answers afterwards, I had gotten the last two ?'s wrong! My friend was convinced that she had failed cuz she wasn't asked any math ?'s. We both felt like a lot of the ?'s we had no idea what the answers were. We went back to my house and immediately tried the PVT. both of us received the msg to contact the member board. We were so happy, relieved but also a little hesitant. Was it true? One day later....both of us our now LPN's! Rest a little easier, this trick seems 100%.

took the NCLEX yesterday at 11:00 am about 150 questions, did the PVT today and got the "good pop-up" still worried I failed, any advice that the PVT works in SC? sooo nervous!!!!

Still getting the good pop up I took RN boards on 8-8, im in mass . Any thoughts? VERY NERVOUS, now sick

took my yesterday and yes still very nervous, in SC and getting the good pop up, it better be full proof i cannot take waiting these 48 hrs you should get your results today though correct?

:yeah:Yes I did get my results today and I am happy to say I PASSED!!!!!! :lol2: :nurse: :redbeathe :heartbeat

The PVT worked! I was getting the good pop up and just found out that I passed! :yeah::lol2::bowingpur

COngrats!!! what great news.. :):yeah:

Took my NCLEX-RN on Monday. I had 75 questions and finished in 9, yes 9, minutes. It was easier than I had anticipated. As soon as I got home (3 hours later) I checked Pearson Vue and I had the good pop up. I checked it several more times that night and everytime I had the good pop up. Woke up at 8 am yesterday morning, my BON opens at 830 am and I kept checking the site to see if it was up yet. 8:40 am, tried to verify my name and sure enough it said that I was an RN with an active license!!! YAYAYYYY!! I really didn't think the trick was reliable, but it really really is!!:yeah:

So I just spoke to one of my classmates. He took his NCLEX sometime last month. He said he had gotten to the CC page, and totally though he failed. Sure enough, he PASSED! This "trick" may have some accuracy to it, but im not sure if people should totally get their hopes up or down! just my thoughts...........

COngrats!!! what great news.. :):yeah:

Thank you! :nurse:

Well the trick worked !!!!!! Im a RN:anpom::[anb]:
