Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
oh wow, i totally feel your pain of being in limbo-hold-land. i just had my results on hold for 4 looong days. talk about torture! i took the NCLEX-PN on thurs 6/9 and just found out this afternoon that i passed. (yay!)
the problem? the fingerprinting machine didn't read my fingerprint properly, so i had to go back to the testing center and have it re-done. they released the hold and i got my results immediately after that.
i was initially given the run-around when i called pearson's customer service number this morning. first they said they didn't have the results and to call my board. the board didn't know anything, of course. so i called pearson back. they then said they didn't know why my results were on hold and that i'd just have to wait. !!!
finally got an email from a helpful pearson rep this afternoon explaining the problem.
just stay on top of them and keep calling to follow up if your status doesn't change soon. good luck!
I took the test yesterday and got the good pop up immediately after my exam...I've done it a couple more times and still getting the good pop up!! Yayyy!!! I can't wait to get the official results so I can feel completely sure!
About half of my questions it seemed like, were SATA, tons of priority--like what pt to assess first, only one drug calculation, and about 5 drug questions that I have never heard of in my life. No maternity, a few peds, and a few psych.
Hey all....
I just took it 4 hours ago...and OMG..it was tough!
I was just wondering about the "good pop up"....i went to pearson view site and it says "Ready for Delivery" under my status....
when will it change to delivery successful???
bc someone told me I can't try the good pop up until it says dilvery succesful
anyone know?
thanks
