Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Well Julie, luckily you are surrounded by people on this site that have shared that same feeling and many of them still feeling it now. It is a horrible feeling. It almost makes you feel like you want to crawl out of your skin. How many questions did you have?

Just took the test at 8am this morning. Came home and googled this little trick so I could try to get a heads up on if I should just start brushing up on my studies now or not. Got "the good" pop-up. Don't feel like I did well on the test at all so it is definatly a mixture of emotions right now. In CA too so I cant jsut wait 2 days for the quick results...Come on CA step it up!

If you got the good pop up, you are good to go!

Haha, really hope so! When it turned off at 85 I seriously almost freaked!

I just took my NCLEX-RN yesterday at 1 pm, and have been checking the PVT constantly since taking the test and keep getting the "candidate has results on hold message". I had the min. amount of questions (75), and took like thirty-forty minutes to take the test.

I have been going stir-crazy since taking the test, and am not even sure when my quick results will be availible (I'm in Iowa). Do they count Sundays? Will they be availible on Monday at 1p, or not until Tues or Wed? Or will they take even longer due to the hold? And has anyone gotten the hold message and still failed?

Just looking for some help here :(

I am in the EXACT same boat as you! I tested Saturday at 1pm. As of today (Monday), I am still getting the "results on hold" pop-up. I also had 75 questions and I also took 35-40 minutes to take the test.

And FYI - they did tell me at the test center that Saturday testers would not be able to see quick results until Tuesday at 1pm. Apparently Sunday doesn't count. Best of luck to you - hope you get good news soon!

AGreen, was it he PN or the RN exam. Last year my PN exam shut off at 85 and this year my RN shut off at 75. I passed both but I was nervous to have gotten the minimum questions. I thought for sure I'd failed.

Congrats Callisonanne!!

That sounds like my exam exam I did have one IV drip rate question. Other than that, no math and no other format except the SATA.
