Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Took my NCLEX RN on Saturday... Took me about an hour to get to 75... Computer shut off.... i was a wreck afterwards... I had a lot of SATA and who do you see first questions... i think i had 10 or so in a row that who is priority or what is priority... Hopefully that is a good thing... Rushed home after an hour... Delivery was stressful it stated on pearsons website so i decided to try the PVT.... I received the good pop up... I wont find out until monday my results.... and its my first day in the ICU...... lets just say my mind will be a mess until i find out..
GOD i hope a passed!!!! Anyone hear of some one using the PVT and received the good pop up but failed???
I have ready 203 pages out of the 1005 pages here https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pearsonvue-trick-true-374829-page203.html. NOT ONE PERSON has gotten the GOOD pop up and failed.. Congrats!
I just took my NCLEX-RN yesterday at 1 pm, and have been checking the PVT constantly since taking the test and keep getting the "candidate has results on hold message". I had the min. amount of questions (75), and took like thirty-forty minutes to take the test.
I have been going stir-crazy since taking the test, and am not even sure when my quick results will be availible (I'm in Iowa). Do they count Sundays? Will they be availible on Monday at 1p, or not until Tues or Wed? Or will they take even longer due to the hold? And has anyone gotten the hold message and still failed?
Just looking for some help here

No, that's not true. Many times the state boards can take up to a week to post the results. Sometimes longer. My results STILL haven't been posted by the state board, however I paid for the quick results and got them on Friday. I called my BON to ask when my license would be posted and they told me it could take 1-3wks before they get to it because they are short staffed. PearsonVue releases your results by computer 48hrs after the exam.. it doesn't matter that they aren't open because it's computer generated.. You'll see.. you'll have your results TODAY :)
