Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Has anyone ever gotten the "results on hold" popup? My state participates in quick results, but I wonder if the results on hold is going to make it so I don't get my results tomorrow at 1? Took my test yesterday (Sat) at 1p.:confused::uhoh3:

Last year when I took my PN NCLEX, there was an issue on their part with my check in. The woman behind the desk accidentally checked my photo and finger print under someone else's name on her screen. She caught the error and fixed it before I went into the exam room, BUT, it put my results on hold. This year for my RN exam there was no problem.

Also, if you finished the test in less than an hour, it also puts your results on hold.

Also, did you try the trick? It really does work. I used it for both my PN and RN NCLEX, it was accurate both times. I also know people that did the trick and the trick showed they failed and they did.

If you finish in less than an hour and your results are on hold do you still get your quick results at 48 hours? Or does it take longer?

Yes you should still get your results on time. I also finished before the hour. My results were on hold for one day. By the second day I was able to try the "trick" and a couple of hours after that, my 48hrs were up and my quick results were posted.

I just got home and got the good pop up! I can't believe it! That was soooo hard. I could have sworn I failed. I cant wait til the official results are in!

I know it's a surreal feeling.. and such a relief!

So I am in same boat as you took NCLEX Friday at 10:15, 75 questions, according to Pearsonvue "trick" I passed, just coughed up the $8 for the Pearsonvue quick check today (Sunday) and it said I passed. I figured it would be worth the $8 to put it all behind me for good. If you check you may be able to pay now.

Oh my gosh RN_Mom. You have soothed me. FINALLY someone soothed me a bit. That makes me very hopeful. You are my hero :)

I took NCLEX yesterday morning for the fifth time. I have done this trick every time... I have always gotten to the credit card information... All my friends got the pop up window and all passed... I checked the website last night, this morning, and tonight. I received the pop up message that stated Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time... I pray I passed...I will find out tomorrow with Quick results and I cannot wait...I don't want to see the words fail... Will let you all know...
