Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

It worked for me.

I had to answer yes to a screening questions for something before even obtaining my LPN.

I took the NCLEX PN, finished at 85 questions, they were really hard at the end, then I got the good pop up, and today, I got the letter saying I passed.

So I took the RN exam this morning and finished with 75 Q in about an hour. Came home and got the open registration pop up but now I have the "good" pop up so I'm tentatively hopeful! :) I'll still be stressing out until I can get my unofficial results or it shows up on the FL BON website!

I just checked my exam results on the FL Dept of Health website and it says I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially RN, BSN!!!!:D

I took the NCLEX-RN at 8am today. It was very difficult. My test cut off at 75 questions and I knew immediately that I didn't do well because I found myself guessing A LOT. I drove home (crying the whole way I should add) & tried the PVT trick after 30 minutes. My delivery wasn't successful then. So. I waited another hour, tried again, and I got the good pop up! I freaked out!! Waiting 48 hours to find out for sure is torture!! Fingers crossed PVT actually works! Also, thanks to everyone who has wrote in! Y'all are the only reason I am sane right now! :)

I'm sorry. From what I have seen posted you will get a summary or something of things that need improvement so hopefully you can focus your areas of study on those categories. I am not sure how it works. Hang in there. Lots of success stories posted here of people that didn't pass on the first time but did after :)

I took NCLEX on Wednesday May 25th at 8:00am. It shut me off at 75 questions. I was in a panic. I did the trick and it worked for me. I found out this morning at 9:15am that I passed! Yeah! It really works!

I took NCLEX-RN today at 8 am and got the good pop up at 12:30pm! I am so happy!!!! :yeah: It worked when I took NCLEX-PN so i have no doubt it will work again! Yay!

I sat for the NCLEX-RN on Thursday, the test shut off at 75 questions. Check PVT and received the good pop-up. I paid for my early results today and I did indeed pass. Now to wait on the state so I can officially call myself an RN.

Anyone use the trick in Florida? When I got the email with my ATT it also provided information on how to purchase your quick results but they don't come in for two business days. I was wondering if the trick will still work in Florida since they offer quick results?
