Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

This trick really works. I tried it as soon as I got home, about 45 mins after my test ended. The best part about it was signing on this site and finding the step by step directions with the exact wording of the pop up!!!! I was unsure if I did it too early or if the pop up was correct because of the wording. It made my 49 1/2 hours until quick results alot easier. The last hour and a half was brutal since I read they are available 48 hours after your test was started. So I guess that varies a little, but who cares as long as we know!!!! I hope it helps someone by reading that it took me a little longer to get my results!!!! Lorraine, RN.
My name is finally posted on the website!!! PVT works!!! Now I could finally say that Im an RN. Soooo happy. Prayers answered. Thank you God.
How long until you saw your name and what state is it for??? I am in Utah and have yet to see my name on the BON website and I tested yesterday and am still getting the good pop-up!
This trick kept me sane. I took my test Yesterday, about 70 something questions and it shut off. I checked when I got home and got the good pop up. Today on my states licensing website I found out officially I PASSED!
Ladies this was my third time taking it. The first two I knew I wasn't ready this last time I felt good. What helped me a lot was the combination of ATI and my professor and also the Saunders Q and A book. Keep plugging away ladies and god bless.

depends on the state...some are really quick and post your name on the website within 24 hours; others are a little slow! I tested on Monday (March 21st), got my quick results yesterday (March 23rd) and this morning my name was on the BON. I would say usually within 24 hours of getting your quick results.
Thanks! I just wish Utah would hurry up and put my name on there so I don't have to wait until tomorrow to pay for quick results....I am just so sick over having to wait! Congrats on passing :)
Thank you!
It should be posted on your state BON soon :)
I feel bad for Michigan applicants, it takes them 5 weeks to even post names on their website! (I have a friend who applied for Michigan, so that's how I know)
