Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I took NCLEX 10/12/10 Indiana, got the good Pop Up about 4 hours fater the test ended and today 10/14 my license # just showed up on the SBON site, so PVT worked for me.

What is the PVT trick. I am veteran navy and about to test, any study suggestions and any ideas are welcomed!!

thanks.

I recently took the NCLEX. I took it on a Friday and 20 mins after finishing the exam i tried the Pearson trick and it worked for me. I got the good pop up and my name was on the BRN website Tuesday morning. Everyone I have talked to that has tried the PEarson trick says it works and has been right everytime. I would not take it as 100% until you see your name on the BRN website, its a great way to take some of the stress and pressure off though. Good Luck to everyone!!!

:yeah: I took the nclex-pn test today, the computer cut off at 85 questions. I Came home to log on to the person website, I saw the good pop-up. I hope this really means I past! I really need a job now.

i apologize if im being redundant, i just dont feel like reading all 180+ pages of this thread,, but has anyone come across an incident where they got the "good" pop-up but ended up failing? i took the nclex-pn yesterday in NJ and i got the pop-up all 17 times i tried, lol. i just hate disappointment =/ and i dont want to get my hopes up for nothing... also does anyone know how soon the license # is posted on the NJ BON??

ALL my questions were critical thinking question where there were 2 right answers and u had to pick the "most appropriate". i had no meds, no calculations, 2 select alls, n 2 drag n drops ... sending a prayer for me n you

I have seen 2 or 3 post (Out of 3000+ post) say they got the good pop up and fail.

These post all seemed to have a few things in common:

1) They had previously failed the NCLEX

2) They seemed to be from California

3) It appears they tried to completely reregister an account with PearsonVue...not just login to their current acct.

I am currently monitering myself and my class mates that do the Pearson Vue trick and so far it is holding up 4 for 4 = good pop up means pass. I wouldnt use the PVT as a 100% pass/fail indicator, but use it to keep your sanity until you can see your SBON results (name license#)

Good luck to Ya
