Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

ok..thanks, i'll take a deep breath for another several weeks..i'll post an update of my result later..

i honestly pray that we can pass,. til now i keep trying pvt to get a good pop-up ( just in case it changes, though i know it is not so possible anymore).. im just so depressed knowing that if i fail, i cant retake anymore coz i dont have ssn.:(

..

@phurple....am from the phil too but i am staying outside california... i took my nclex rn last july 28th but my results still not yet receive until now...got 2 or 3 sata , 2 meds and more on prioritization, delegation and critical thinking...am so worried right now.. update me with your result and good luck!:)

@05roldan hey im from the phil too.. i took mine last aug.5.. did u try the pvt trick? im also worried since i got all 265 questions.. and my pvt trick goes directly to cc page.. how about yours? you should try at least to ease your worry.;)

You can't retake? How come? I know someone from the Philippines took the NCLEX so many times but did not have any problem retaking. He applied in California. I wonder why?????

i dont have ssn, and i dont know any way on how to get one, except being offered a job there, which is far since i dont even have a u.s. license yet., and since California had required SSN for their applicants starting april 2010, my last shot was my recent exam and i dont think i can make it though. :( that's the reason why i can't retake. huhu. i wish my pvt would have been wrong all this time..

I just got home from the NCLEX-RN exam. :crying2::confused::crying2: DEVASTATED! I was hoping to finish early but it took me 6 hrs and answered all question. 265! I got questions from every topic, including the Alternative questions! I heard if you get to the last question it will be the deciding question whether you PASS or FAIL. I got a topic which I'm not really familiar with and I am soooooooo worried if got it right :crying2::crying2::crying2:. I tried the PVT and I got the GOOD POP-UP! I felt like my soul was lifted up :eek::eek: and can't stop smiling! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D. Hope the PVT is accurate and true.

Can you guys please share your past experiences using the PVT. It will be a big help in lowering down my anxiety. Thanks!

I don't know for sure about getting the last question right or wrong meaning you passed or failed, but I do know that the last question could have possibly been a pilot question.. one of the ones that isn't scored on just experimental, and it wouldn't have counted anyway. And congrats on the good pop up! Hopefully this trick is right!!

I took the NCLEX-RN Exam this morning at 8am... HOLY COW was this test hard...

Coming into the test I told myself, "I really hope this test shuts off at 75!" After reading books, it said that if it shuts off at 75, you either really passed, or you reallly failed.. and I kept thinking to myself.. I know I can't REALLY fail... until I got out of the test and it shut me off at 75 questions!!

I remember getting to 73.. and praying that the test was going to go PAST 75 questions because I thought I was doing THAT bad.. I was convinced that I failed THAT BAD!!...so 45 minutes later and 75 questions..( I was also freaked out because I took it so freaking fast) I am still freaking out!! I did do the trick and got the good pop up but REALLY!?! Can I feel this bad about this test and still pass? I don't feel like it tested me over anything I studied... I just feel BLAH about it all together!!

hi, i had a bad pop up result. how come i was not asked to put my school name and info just the graduation date. please help me, am i doing the right process of pvt trick?

so yesterday i went to take the nclex-pn. it was definitely not what i expected. i guess i completely studied all the wrong things. it was mostly meds that i have never heard of. i felt like i guessed through the entire test. my computer went completely blank at 85 questions and i knew 100% that i failed that test. a classmate told me about the "trick" so after my hour and a half drive home i instantly jumped on the computer and tried it. and i got the good pop up! i didn't want to get my hopes up though because i just knew there was no way i passed it. well i check the doh website today and i found out i passed! i really do believe this trick works after reading all of these posts and it has been 100% accurate for our whole graduating class. the only two that did not get the pop up - failed. so if you need to relieve a lot of stress and have a good nights sleep .. do the trick. well, sorry this was so long! just wanted to share my story. so glad i am now officially an lpn after all this hard work! congrats to all those who have passed and good luck to those about to take their test :D

:redpinkhe:yeah::nurse::redpinkhe:yeah::nurse::redpinkhe:yeah::nurse::redpinkhe:yeah::nurse::redpinkhe:yeah::nurse:

Congratulations to you!!!:):):):):)..I find out my results tomorrow.

i dont have ssn, and i dont know any way on how to get one, except being offered a job there, which is far since i dont even have a u.s. license yet., and since California had required SSN for their applicants starting april 2010, my last shot was my recent exam and i dont think i can make it though. :( that's the reason why i can't retake. huhu. i wish my pvt would have been wrong all this time..

hi.. if we have an active eligibility that was issued before they made the changes regarding the SSN, if we fail the exam does that mean we can't retake anymore because we do not have the SSN? i think just as long as we already have a record with them we can still retake even without the SSN because when we applied, the changes weren't made yet... is there a website or an article that says otherwise?
