Do these hospitals accept foreign rn's who had not sitted nclex?

yeah. im now looking for other states which dont require cgfns/ces, huhu.

me too, i go straight to the cc page. well, i just knew that my friend had passed so i borrowed her username and pw just to check if pvt really works and poof! good pop-up shows. im so depressed. im just waiting for the thick envelope to arrive, i think i still have l;ots of space in my trash can for that mail. :(

i@flocam: yeah, but in case that we fail, it clearly stated that we cant retake if we dont have ssn. .. reality bites!

i dont think we can retake. coz ive read somewhere in this forum that a co-filipino who had failed and wanted to retake, his/her documents were sent back telling him/her to supply the ssn since cali doesnt accept applications anymore for those who don t have their ssn.

took on august 5 and tried pvt, and had gone straight to cc page.. i hope a miracle happens.

i dont have ssn, and i dont know any way on how to get one, except being offered a job there, which is far since i dont even have a u.s. license yet., and since California had required SSN for their applicants starting april 2010, my last shot was my recent exam and i dont think i can make it though. that's the reason why i can't retake. huhu. i wish my pvt would have been wrong all this time..

@05roldan hey im from the phil too.. i took mine last aug.5.. did u try the pvt trick? im also worried since i got all 265 questions.. and my pvt trick goes directly to cc page.. how about yours? you should try at least to ease your worry.

i honestly pray that we can pass,. til now i keep trying pvt to get a good pop-up ( just in case it changes, though i know it is not so possible anymore).. im just so depressed knowing that if i fail, i cant retake anymore coz i dont have ssn.

hi. im a foreign RN and took nclex-rn last august 5, 2010. i was trembling the whole time, my hands felt cold and numb and i actually had the dreading 265 questions. mostly i got prioritizations and delegations, 2 calculations, 4-5 satas and some meds which i think only the inventor knows. i got out the center teary-eyed while walking along the streets of makati. (im from the philippines). didnt know how to check pvt until my friend did it for me, just to know that my account goes directly to cc page. of course im so dumbstruck at first, cried the whole time. now, im just waiting for a thick envelope. i dont want to let my hopes up for nothing. poor me.

@ silverdragon: yes im willing to undergo the process of obtaining a visa for the program. im currently sending inquiries to different hospitals in the u.s. which caters internship programs and i found a few who are open for foreign graduates like me. i've read in some internet pages that i'll be appling for a j1 visa for an internship. as for now., im hoping to pass my nclex exam this august so i can concentrate more on what im going to do next. methodist hospital in texas had already replied with my inquiry and im looking forward for a positive result.

thanks caroladybelle. im about to take licensure this august and i would love to be exposed on a u.s. hospital setting. i dont mind if i dont get paid as long as i can gain the experience. :) finding work here in ph is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

and by the way, these internships that im referring to are offered in the U.s.
