PeaceHealth RN Residency in Eugene/ Springfield Oregon 2020
I’m looking to get any feedback regarding the PeaceHealth Registered Nurse Residency in Eugene, Springfield and Vancouver (Riverbend, University and Southwest respectively). If anyone has participated in the program or knows how many people generally apply to the program vs spots available, it would be infinitely helpful to me!
I have received ICU offers in Washington at rural hospitals but would like to stay closer to Portland if possible. I have to either accept or decline these offers but am trying to gauge what my chances are at Peace Health before I do so.
Any insight would be wonderful. Thank you and enjoy your holiday weekends!

CONGRATS!! That’s awesome news! Good luck on the NCLEX. You’re gonna pass with flying colors! ?
What did they say regarding the ED? That was one unit I interviewed with.

given that they didn't mention it and that my interview didn't really go as I expected.. I don't think I got an offer from them. I hope you do!
Hey everyone. To anybody who was fortunate enough to get hired into the RN Residency program up in Vancouver, shoot me a private message if you want to exchange info prior to our start date. I already live in Portland but am making the move across the bridge into Vancouver. I was hired in the ED. CONGRATS to everyone and thank god for PeaceHealth during this pandemic LOL.
Cheers.

Talked to a recruiter earlier last week and he said they completed recruiting for “most of the medical units” and for the NICU so if you haven’t heard than “you didn’t get the offer”. He was pretty direct about it. ? He said that they are working through almost 80 offers so it’s just going to take awhile. I heard back from Vancouver and was offered ICU there which I was super surprised at. They pushed the start date back to the end of August but I don’t think that applies to Riverbend!
