Do you have a PDA or voice recorder? Why or why not? Do you think either or both of these are needed or helpful?
Okay, so since I have now decided I should have one...what should I be looking for specifically? Thanks!
Mine is the iPAQ Pocket PC by HP. It came with a calander, That I can look at the entire month with or use to schedule daily appointments with. (It was really great to get rid of my big bulky planner) It came with an address book feature. It has pocket Word and Excel. It has Windows media player. When I get an internet card for it I will have internet access. I can download lots of different things to it. It has a task scheduler that I entered all of my tests, and skills that I need to test out on. It gives me a reminder of those. Like I said it has the built-in voice recorder. My loveing wife got it for me for Christmas this year and I already would be lost without it. She won't tell me what it cost, but it is worth every penny. I have plugged all of my nursing formulas/calculations into it so should I ever forget, (I'm nearing 40 you know!!!) lol. Did I mention it also has a calculator?
I almost forgot to mention its most important feature...it has solitaire!!! LOL!

I'm going to get one before I start school. I'm sure it's going to be a lot better than carrying heavy books to clinicals! I'd like to get one that has lots of memory so I can story drug info, RNFacts, things like that.
I had an Oooold one until about a month ago. It died and I'm just lost w/o it. I was trying to make an appt. for my dog yesterday, I didn't have my PDA calendar and I felt LOST!
I need to get one soon.
