I am currently applying as a nurse by examination in the state of Massachusetts. I have already sent in my application form to the office of PCS and CGFNS has emailed me that*they have* already forwarded my CES report to PCS last month. I have been waiting since last month but I still haven't received any message from PCS regarding my application. I have sent numerous emails to PCS regarding this but I still haven't heard from them and I am starting to worry that my application isn't being processed. On the site of PCS, it was stated that they do respond 3 days after receiving the application/documents but it has been already been weeks, what could have happened? Do you guys have any idea?

If they have verbally given you your approval I would go ahead and register with parsonvue

Are you waiting for your ATT? For permission to take the NCLEX? If so, no one told my class that after we sent out all of the paperwork we had to then register for the NCLEX via Pearson Vue and pay the $200 before we would receive our ATT. Once we paid the money for our NCLEX to Pearson we received an email a few business days later letting us know that we could schedule an actual date for the exam.
Oh. Nobody told me that either. After sending them numerous emails they told me that I am approved to test but that I should wait for the coordinator to send in the approval letter and nclex packet.
I posted another question here in allnurses and silverdragon told me that i should register and i did, but i didn't pay yet for the nclex exam because I thought that I would be required to pick a date already. Thanks to you, I am a little bit more enlightened regarding my problem. Oh and one more thing, if I pay for it, and receive the ATT, should I schedule the exam immediately or can I schedule it after a month or two? So I can still prepare and review for the nclex. Thanks a lot!

Your ATT will come by email.
So after registeribg and paying, how much time am i given before scheduling and taking the exam?
You can't book the exam until you receive your ATT from pearsonvue and they will not release it until the BON says so which in most cases isn't long. Once ATT is released you have 90 days to sit the exam

ATT is valid about 90 days once issued. Clock may have already started
That's good to know! Thank you! :)
Are they already gonna start counting even if I haven't paid pearson vue yet?
The letter will have the dates valid. Most states are 90 days. Some are longer
Is there a possibility that there is already a letter but I just haven't received it yet since I still haven't paid pearson vue?
