PBSC Spring 2015 Nursing

I created this thread for those applying to Spring 2015 LW Nursing. I am a returning student starting a second career. I have 4 prerequisites left that I am taking this summer. I also am taking the Critical Thinking class for a point. I took the Hesi last week to see how I would do and got an 85. I will have about 27 points for my app so not sure if I will take Hesi again. Good luck everyone.

My points finally show but I already accepted my spot in Broward College. I'm going to send out an email asking to withdraw my application. Good luck guys!

Msdoubtfire (Hello deary) I too have applied to Belle Glade with 22.98 pts. Not sure whereabouts you reside but because it's not just a hop, skip, and a jump to the campus from where I live (Palm Beach Gardens) I'm open to carpooling to lessen the driving costs should my fate move in the direction of acceptance over the coming weeks. That goes for anyone else on the board too.. I took Pharm out there last year and it was a desolate drive. I felt like something directly out of a scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre would happen if my car broke down and I was alone.

Has anybody here not seen their points yet and what day did you turn in your application? From what i could tell of the people in the facebook group, they had started working on the applications from the 30th on Monday.

I saw Latisha a few weeks ago and she told me that about 90 apps were turned in on Oct 1st so if they haven't even finished the 30th I doubt they will finish this week.

When I spoke to Rhonda last Friday, she told me they were aiming for this week. With that being said, I don't think it will happen this week as it appears they are still working on apps turned in on the 30th. I wish I knew how many they normally get through in a day.

Hopefully soon! I am a little tired of waiting and ready to make plans for the next step whether its starting school or a backup plan! I think there is a decent amount of stuff to do before you can start school so I would like to get it all out of the way before the holidays if I get accepted.

So obviously this week was not the week. According to someone who called today, they are still working on applications from the 1st and now next will be the week for notifications. Not sure if it will be all notifications, check your points for correctness, or just denials. Enjoy another weekend of waiting ?
