I created this thread for those applying to Spring 2015 LW Nursing. I am a returning student starting a second career. I have 4 prerequisites left that I am taking this summer. I also am taking the Critical Thinking class for a point. I took the Hesi last week to see how I would do and got an 85. I will have about 27 points for my app so not sure if I will take Hesi again. Good luck everyone.
Depends on who you talk to. So far nobody has gotten a consistent answer other than "we're hoping for...". I guess incomplete applications and appeals are being processed according to one person and another says they still haven't finished processing applications. Rhonda told me 2 weeks ago that last week was their aim, someone else was told this week was the aim. I'm not feeling very encouraged by the lack of communication amongst the staff members to be able to give a consistent answer to any question asked at this point. All I do know for sure is that a few LPN transition students received their acceptance notifications yesterday. We will have until dec 12 to get everything in and orientation is on the 17th but not sure what time. This is the info from the acceptance letter my classmate received. If I didn't think it could potentially hurt me, I'd write a letter to the dean of the program expressing these same concerns and what it insinuates about the program itself. I find it very disconcerting that we are held to a certain standard of professionalism that does not appear to be upheld on their end.

I couldn't agree with you more. I thought the waiting thing was just a problem for the last application because of the points issue. I figured that losing those point would make this semesters application process much smoother ?
I wonder if other schools have these sort of issues.

So they've made the selections, however, the person in charge to do the notifications is out sick today. So maybe tomorrow or Friday.
