PBSC Spring 2015 Nursing

I created this thread for those applying to Spring 2015 LW Nursing. I am a returning student starting a second career. I have 4 prerequisites left that I am taking this summer. I also am taking the Critical Thinking class for a point. I took the Hesi last week to see how I would do and got an 85. I will have about 27 points for my app so not sure if I will take Hesi again. Good luck everyone.

Hi everyone i also applied for spring 2015..if i am calculating right i have 28.34 points..I've been stalking my partner web but no update....anyone heard anything yet. ..this is nerve wrecking :coldfeet:

Nothing yet. My points haven't even posted yet and I turned my app in on the 25th. But I checked past threads and the earliest any of them found out was the 21st...so we got a while. And wow, with those points Danaleo you are as good as in! Just hang in there.

Spoke to someone in the nursing office today. They are still processing apps so don't worry if your points haven't posted yet or if you haven't heard anything. The wait continues...

For those that attended the last info session: do you recall which statistics course will be the new co-requisite? When I searched, the only one that came up is STA2023. I found one in particular (Ref #194404 - an online course with Joseph Pick) that specifically mentioned that it was for health professions. Is this the one? I registered just in case. I will e-mail Latisha to check, but I know she has about a million e-mails a day, so I thought I would check here first. Also, I took Biostatistics when I got my bachelor's....maybe I will check first to see if I can do a course appeal :p

I thought it was a prereq starting next application cycle. It wasn't needed if you applied by Oct 1.

I know - I am applying for Fall 2015. I've just been posting here for info since there isn't a Fall 2015 board yet. Sorry for the confusion :)

Scared me for a moment. I thought it was just the basic statistics. If I don't get accepted this cycle I will be taking in January as well.

It took well over a month for fall this year. :no: I heard this is part of the reason they are getting rid of the healthcare experience point... it took too long to verify them since people were apparently forging the documents to get the point..

It was definitely stressful!

Thanks for the info guys. I've applied for the Spring 2015 FT, I'm learning a lot from reading these. For those who went to the last session, did Latisha say the "Average" were around 23 and 24, or were these some of the lowest scores?
