I created this thread for those applying to Spring 2015 LW Nursing. I am a returning student starting a second career. I have 4 prerequisites left that I am taking this summer. I also am taking the Critical Thinking class for a point. I took the Hesi last week to see how I would do and got an 85. I will have about 27 points for my app so not sure if I will take Hesi again. Good luck everyone.
Hey guys!
My chances of getting in are probably pretty slim i had a 25.4 prior to the point change, and i have a 22.4 now after the change
i got an 82 on my hesi last Thursday so i do not have the opportunity to retake, I sent in my application and hoping for the best although i know im pretty low. Does anyone know how to find out if the application is missing anything prior to the deadline? or do you have to wait it out till the deadline? Im praying to get into the part time program but its all in gods hands now :/
Hi bianca2431! Your points are what they are, and I don't think your points are that bad. However, the part time program usually takes the high end of the point system. It's good that you applied, and like you said it's out of your hands now. Just don't get yourself down about it. It is what it is. And if you don't get in then at least you know where you stand for next time. I wish you the best of luck!
Per Latisha after this night's info session: so far the average looks like 23-24....so far. And for anyone applying after Oct 1 2014, they will be dropping Nutrition and adding Statistics; you must get an 80% in each of the scored sections of the HESI and get at least an 80% overall. Good Luck everyone!

The new HESI scores are for the application after October, correct?
