PBSC Spring 2011 hopeful......

Published

Applied to PBSC RN Program for Spring 2011. Playing the waiting game. I decided to apply to the Belle Glade Campus.....

does anyone know how appeals work? If they approve an appeal do they take seats away from those who haven't received an acceptance letter yet? I'm sooo nervous! I haven't gotten a denial or anything but i don't want to get too excited until i get an acceptance letter (hopefully)

I'm just trying to figure out every possibility!

@anju_30..

I believe that they would take seats away....I would'nt worry:up:

Have you check your degree audit on pantherweb? There is a question at the top that says admitted to program...before mines ha a "N" for no, now there is a "Y" there....and I already received my email acceptance for the transition program

hi zhian,

sorry to hear you did not get in. if your plan-b is to work on increasing your points, this is a great website that will help you in preparation for exams; quizlet.com - it has certainly helped me for the hesi a2, and i still make reference to it.

all the best.

Thanks Chepherd! That was really nice of you :-)..I wish you the best of luck on your journey

Hey Chepherd and Artistdiaz, I was wondering. I am also applying for Jan 2011 PBSC and i also have NOT received any rejection letter however i hear that the appeal process can knock some people out of the pool. i have 27.99 points. Hopefully i will see you guys in class =) question, Artistdiaz... did you hear that "cut off point" from a reliable source or was it from another student? See you guys!

Hey. I heard it from students. But more than one that don't know each other.

I have a friend who got denied, and was told 27.5 was the cut off for Lake Worth full time...she would have no reason to say differently....27.99 should be good!

marsdgrove33133 ,that's the new news going around. yeah... it would suck if our fate depends on the approval or denial of the appeals. i don't know if it's just speculation, i am waiting to get a response back from them to confirm if this is true. if that is the case, then people who will be knocked out has to be given a fair chance to also appea. i just hope all goes well.

This is pretty crazy, we won't have our application packets until Monday morning at the earliest (provided we all actually are accepted) and we have to sign up for classes Wednesday morning >.
