PBSC Spring 2011 hopeful......

Applied to PBSC RN Program for Spring 2011. Playing the waiting game. I decided to apply to the Belle Glade Campus.....

Specializes in CVICU, CCU, MICU.
foodiej,

i am not sure which one gives 2 or 3 credit, the nur1141 or the nur2140. i have no choice but to do nur1141 at belle glade with the only in-class professor available.

i really wanted to do the nur2140 (in-class), but the only person available at lake worth is bad-tempered (but good). i'll have to do some research to see if either is transferable to a bsn program.

chepard i was planning on doing the same...

hmm ill have to spend some time thinking about it

can we take it in lake worth, even if we are accepted into the belle glade program?

Has anyone gotten a denial for Belle Glade? Does anyone know what the cut off was? I have a friend that applied there and so far we know (from other posts) what the cut off for Full Time Lake Worth and Part Time Lake Worth are...but not Belle Glade and she is dying to know.

Oh, and for those of us that have not heard either way for sure...today is Professional Development Day for staff at PBSC, so from what I understand, no one is there to let us know either way today...so nothing until at least tomorrow.

livie, sorry to hear. i like your spirit though. you didn't let it break you; instead you have immediate plans to make things work.

ahhh

so the norm i see

artistdiaz, thanks for the information on the pharm classes. 6-8 chapters per week!! wow! i am taking my own sweet time, but i hope to complete the whole book by december.

as you know i am also a belle glade hopeful, if you don't minde me asking, how many points does your friend have?

chepherd: Not sure how many points she has, but i will ask her. I want to say that is it around 26 or 27 points.

foodiej, i believe, they are flexible with the pharm class. you have the option of doing it online, or in class, i don't think they will fuss about the campus you choose for pharm.

artistdiaz, thanks. i can't imagine someone applying to belle glade with 29 points or more.

Chepherd, how many points do you have? I would want to believe that if you did not hear anything yet that no news is good news. I know about 8 or so people that have gotten denial letters last night, unfortunately none for the Belle Glade campus. The ones I know that applied to that campus have not received anything. So I don't know if anything has gone out for Belle Glade or if everyone I know that applied there got in. I do know that they are all in the 26 to 27 point range. How are you on points? I am thinking at this point, no news is good news for those that have not heard.

Im so anxious, the wait is killing me

artistdiaz, i have 27.3 points, i hope it's enough to guarantee a seat.

melissalucky, it's getting close to the moment and i am literally shaking. i am drinking benadryl but it's not working.
