Hello! I decided to start a thread for those who are applying to PBSC for the Spring 2014 deadline.

I have applied and my application is complete! this is my 3rd time applying, so I am really hoping to make the cut this time around

Im doing the evening clinical with skills lab on tuesdays, lecture online and either one of the pharms doesn't really matter because now the BSN takes both of them. How about you?

Im not sure yet! I was thinking evening clinical with skills on tuesday, 3 credit pharm on Wed. morning and lecture in class. But I might end up doing day clinical, skills on Friday, lecture in class and that Wed. morning pharm because clinical and skills lab the same day just seems like a lot for one day?

I was pondering this last night, I thought if I slept on it that I would have an answer, but Im still pondering lol.

I like the idea of evening clinical because I am NOT a morning person, however, I hate that we have limited choices in skills lab :sniff:

I think it depends on you really, I do better with my classes back to back because I stay motivated to study on my days off rather than spacing them out and not getting the days off I need for studying. But that's just me.. (Im used to long days because I work in a hospital) .. some people prefer their classes spread out so it's not so much in one day etc. You still have a few days to think about it :x3:

Congrats to you both @phdewer84 & @Bremac88! I know im super late but I also got in but in the bell glade program. Ive only completed the 2 quizzes so far. I really don't wanna get the flu shot but I guess I have no choice. Have u guys started on anything yet?

How does lecture online work? I've never taken an online class. Do you just watch it online same class times?

Yes! I have figured it out! Evening clinical, skills Tuesday, lecture in class and 2 credit pharm on thursday morning :cat: I will have Fridays off to do misc. lol I really wanted to take the 3credit pharm but I dont think it matters, and the 3credit class wasn't working with the rest of my schedule. If I have to take an extra pharm down the line then oh well... ekkk Im getting so excited! :roflmao:

Thanks & congrats to you also! I have my stethoscope, backpack, and CPR class scheduled for next week. I have a lot to do these next couple of weeks!

Thanks and congrats to you as well! I've done a few things already but that was mostly through my job all I really have left is my physical, drug test etc. with nms, uniforms/pin, and books. I made a wishlist on amazon for my supplies and books and emailed to everyone in my family so ill get a little help here and there with that. The days are dragging by....

@julie_ann3 I think it really depends on the class. I've taken numerous online courses and they definitely are harder unless you are super organized. Some I had to be in a live chatroom for lecture While others I followed the syllabus deadlines and just worked at my own pace. It's easy to fall behind if you don't put as much time in as you would a regular class. .. @bremac88 that's nice maybe we will be in the same clinicals and lab.. I'm getting super excited as well! Did you know the night of registration also happens to be the end of daylight savings? I wonder if that will mess anything up I hope not... :devil:

In the welcome packet it says to print out two "certificates" of each test. What exactly did you print out? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to print out the summary of attempts or if I am supposed to click on the GRADES button but it shows both tests together (three test options,) I did the one that say June 13- Feb-14; please tell me I did the right one not the Nov 12 to February 14. Anyone know? I don't want to mess anything up ahhhhh lol

Besides the 2 quizzes I have nothing done! I need to start asap though. Think I'm going to get the flu shot next week and try to get the background check on friday or something. Are there still spots open for CPR class?

Lol well I just printed out the grades for each quiz to show that I got a 100%. I printed out 2 copies of each quiz. But I actually did the one that's good through sept 2014 since feb is right around the corner.

I didn't realize that about daylight savings, but I think that the time usually changes around 2am! So I doubt it eekkkk! Ill be on at 12:45pm lol.

Quick question, I just finished the Tenet Orientation and HIPPA Quiz, underneath that it says that we need to bring "Signed and Witnessed Ethical Agreement, and Health Science/ EMS Safety Disciplinary Procedure" do you know where to find it?
