Hello! I decided to start a thread for those who are applying to PBSC for the Spring 2014 deadline.

I have applied and my application is complete! this is my 3rd time applying, so I am really hoping to make the cut this time around

My registration date changed but I havent recieved any other emails does anyone know when we get the welcome packet?

Mine changed also to Nov. 4th I think... No packet or other emails yet...

I called the nursing office yesterday and I was told the packets will be sent out Monday :)

Does anyone know what the point cut off was for the part time program? I'm planning on applying next October and I should have 28-29 points depending on gpa following the completion of pre-req's and whether I qualify for the health experience points. If I need to, I will retake the hesi in the summer and try for the full 10 points (scored an 88.57%) with rusty science knowledge.

I havent heard anything about the pt program sorry :/ Still checking for that welcome packet havent gotten that either... :banghead:

@jcol1460 I don't know anyone who applied for the pt program, you can always email the advisor (not allowed to post the name) but you can find her on Palm Beach State or PM me and Ill give you her email address, she can tell you what the cutoff was.

@phdewer84 have you started buying anything yet?

I emailed her last week but she hasn't responded yet, and the lady who answered the phone didn't know either.

I already have a stethoscope and I had bought some of the books from the syllabus on amazon but I really want that packet before I spend more $$. I have my titers and immunizations, tb test, and cpr card all from work (lucky me) and the employee health nurse at my job says walgreens has school physicals for $15! I wanted to see about shoes can they be tennis shoes as long as they are white? And I will probably get my scrubs next month and my miscellaneous items from amazon they havent failed me yet :)
