Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.
I read on line that this school works on a point system
I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program
(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO
WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.
Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.
Thanks
When you turn in your paperwork each item gets logged in. If you are missing something you will know. As for the shot records you only need to turn in a copy of your titers lab report and the medical record form. I got the H1N1 Vaccine but it's not mandatory. However, since you will be doing your clinicals in hospitals...consider the vaccine. I got mine at walgreens. The vaccine is free. Cost is $15 to administer. You still have time to tie up loose ends. We're getting closer. Enjoy the holidays! The fun is yet to come.
Hi to all. It has been pretty quiet on this forum for a while so I thought I would make a post. Orientation was interesting. It was nice to put a face to the professor's names. I was impressed with the skills lab. It is much larger than I thought it would be.
I was placed with the online group, I guess because I scheduled to take lecture online. There was a lot of chatter as to whether or not that was a good choice or not. It was after the tour I began questioning my decision. If there are any thoughts out there as to Lecture online or in class I would love some feedback. Some of the girls in the upper semesters say that the online class doesn't prepare you well enough for the test...thats scary. I had read that others felt that the inclass lecture read directly from the power points anyway. Im a single mom so that was one of the reasons I chose online. I hope I made the right choice..Any advice?
Well today was the deadline. If there are any hopefuls out there waiting for a phone call because someone didnt fill their commitment you should hear something soon.
Good luck to all.

i ws just going over my paperwork one last time... on the medical exam form it says "immunization evidence must be attached" do they mean like our actual shot records or just the results from our titers. Also somebody said the H1N1 vaccine is mandatory but its not in our paperwork, anybody hear that too??
