Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.
I read on line that this school works on a point system
I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program
(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO
WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.
Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.
Thanks

How is everybody doing? Today I feel like a pin cushion lots of vaccines. :vlin:
you needed vaccines? I just had to get the PPD and bloodwork to confirm I had chickenpox since I never had the varivax.
I'm waiting on my stethoscope and shoes to arrive. Hopefully next week I can test them out!
Yeah! Started the HepB Series as well as others, Did you decline? Where did you end up getting the shoes?
I had all my vaccinations done years ago.
for shoes, I actually got them from target.com I got the nursemates Dove. I had trouble finding all white shoes that aren't hideous and look comfortable, so hopefully these work out.
ah hah! lol :) Thats because you are much younger. You say years ago like its a long time. I got a few years on you so yeah it will take some blood work to determine what I need. The tetorifice vaccination is still sore.:loveya: but its all worth it! Thanks for the tip on the shoes I will look into it. I would like something thats comfortable but not hideous too. Im almost ready to submit my package, you probably have gotten yours in already. See you at orientation. Best of luck to everyone!:clpty:
I had the same questions about the stethescope. Friends in the program say that some have a tendency to walk away and to keep that in mind when purchasing one. However, spoke to my Dr's nurse during my physical and her daughter is also in the program. She said only by Littmann, it is the best and make sure it is the bell shape. So thats what I did. Also Littmann has models in many price ranges, some were really expensive! If you get a good one she said just hold on to it! :bdyhdclp:
happyjj777- thanks for the info! ive heard that about how they tend to walk so it makes me want to purchase a less expensive one but i still would like a nice one that works well as we are learning, so good advice to just hold on to them! did you end up getting one online or in a store? and does anyone know if were allowed to have a colored stethescope or if anyone bought a colored one?
