Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.
I read on line that this school works on a point system
I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program
(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO
WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.
Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.
Thanks
Thanks girl! No they don't pay for shots or physical, I asked. The tuitionis $1052.00 I think or somewhere around there. I did call that place you told me about and the Health Dept but you have to be at poverty level. I guess im lucky! I called my health insurance and they did say they will pay for one physical, tetnus, and the HEP B, so that will help. I will let you know what happens next.
thunter,
well every little bit helps. God will help you find a way to pay your tuition dont worry. I wish you, and all who got accepted lots of success throughout the program and in our nursing career. maybe one day we will all be working at the same hospital. I want to be a Dialysis Nurse what about you?
Thunter that is awesome. Isnt there a 6000 max though? If they are giving us gas cards wont that mean that would come from our budget? And what did you have to bring besides the quotes? Let me know because I dont want to keep taking too much time off of work. I am so excited to meet you..u are going to the Dec meet and greet right?
My appt is on Monday with Mrs. Shanti, wish me luck.
I want to a oncology nurse. I took care of a terminal ill Aunt for 6 months, I did everything from head to toe, including giving her meds. I slept at the hosp and Hospice. I watched how some of those nurses were so caring and I wan to be that type of nurse. I was also the only one there when she died. I figured if I could emotionally get through that I could get through anything.

I'm not sure about the $6000.00 max but you can ask when you go She said she wasn't sure yet about the gas cards. I took copies of 2 different pay stubs, birth certificate, SS card, Insurance card,Diploma, letter of denial from PBCC re: FAFSA, schedule for spring, Copy's estimate, Drivers license, All my kids SS card, birth certificate. I think that was it. Yes I am going to the Dec 4th meeting, my professor for APLab had to rearrage the final that day because it i a night class, so we are having the final at 9:00 at night now. I'm glad he worked around it. I will meet you there....
