Passed NCLEX w/ How Many Resources?

Published

I am preparing to take my boards soon and I am starting to question if I am ready or not? Has any one passed the boards only using Kaplan resources? If not, what else did you use?

I passed in 75 & only used the "box of questions" that HESI gave us after our school-required HESI review. There were about 1500 questions on index cards.

I passed with only 75 questions June 14 and I only used Kaplan :) I think your fine.

I only used Kaplan, and passed with 75 questions. I felt like the Kaplan questions were harder than those on my NCLEX. Good luck to you!

75 questions. Hurst Review

thanks guys! also is it true you fail if you don't do well in certain areas or is it just based on the number of questions you got chronologically wrong?

you have to prove competency in each content area; if you can't get (and stay) above the passing line in any of the 8 content areas then you will not pass.

75 questions... ATI throughout school and Thelans critical care book and my pharmacology flashcards (Google them)

The NCLEX just ain't all that.

I passed with 75 questions and only used Kaplan. I agree with Loves2scrub, Kaplan questions seemed harder than NCLEX. I also attended a Kaplan 4 day review course after graduating. Good luck!

I used Kaplan and Ecco. Don't pay for Ecco though. It's insane expensive and not really going to be worth it.
