So after over a year of snooping on AN, I can finally share my success story. I graduated December 2013 and had my first child March of 2014. It was pretty hard to study effectively and I failed on my first attempt. I was definitely disappointed.
I sorta put the Nclex on the back burner and focused on my family. After a couple months I knew I had to get my head back in the game. Wasn't sure how to approach it exactly, especially since I've been out of school for a while. I was able to get access to Feuer nursing review on audio for content and purchased Uworld for 30 days for the questions. Feuer was perfect for content and Uworld my gosh the rationales honestly helped me understand material a lot better.
I did content (feuer) for a month and questions (uworld) for another month and then took the exam. After completing uworld I felt pretty confident. Those questions are very similar to those on the actual Nclex. Initially I was scoring at 55% by the time I was done I was at 68%.
I had the whole shebang 265 questions. It was exhausting but I thank God for them because now I can put RN at the end of my name. God was constant through it all. Hope this helps someone. PRAY without ceasing!
