Passed NCLEX with 69 questions

Published

I took the NCLEX RN the first time on February 14th. I honestly didn't feel prepared and I got the whole entire test and failed. The first time I studied using the NCSBN review which was a big mistake. Since I failed I wanted to try a different review program. I purchased Uworld with 1 self assessment. I did about 100-150 questions each day. These questions were really hard but I studied all the rationals. Two days before I took my exam I did the self assessment. I felt like I was getting on the questions wrong but I ended up getting a 73% which meant I had a very high chance of passing NCLEX. Took the exam and computer shut off at 69. I felt much more relaxed and prepared after using World. I tried the Pearson due trick and it really doesn't work

Thanks for this! I keep hearing praises on UWorld, and though I won't take the NCLEX until next year, this is definitely a confirmation that I need to stick to Uworld.

CONGRATS! So u got bad pop up but passed any tips?

Thanks :). The first time I ddi fail and got the bad pop up. The second time around I got the good popup. So I do believe the Pearson due trick is pretty accurate. Review on content. I used Nursing.com its $25 a mont and they have lectures on pretty much everything.

CONGRATS that’s amazing!

I took my NCLEX in February and I failed as well I’m retaking it in 2 weeks. Did you think the content was the easier, harder or the same since they changed it to 60 question minimum and 130 question max ?

I thought the content was a little easier but thats because I studied differently and I didn't have any test anxiety. I typically do better with less questions so I was super happy they changed the amount of questions.

I'm retesting also next week...not by choice... ( they cancelled my test again) if I dont take it next week I have to wait until end of may.

I did uworld and Hurst the first time and I think maybe I didn't hit the rationales in my book harder than I should

CONGRATS on passing

They just cancelled my exam and now I have to drive to Washington next week or I will have to wait until June-July to retest! This is crazy ugh

it would have been nice for a head up... it doesnt even matter if I change testing locations.. I'm not going to drive 200 miles to push my date back 1 day.

On the Pearson vue website it says they have closed testing centers but I got a date next week in D.C. wonder if thats gonna get cancelled on me as well

I am extremely stressed out right now. I’m supposed to start my job may 4 I pray they do not cancel this new date ughhhhhhhh

Just keep checking 3 times a day ....

my study schedule is all thrown off now... looks like I need to be studying 10 hrs a day now instead of 5 hrs..

I'm just hoping someone changes their date so I can push it back another week
