Passed NCLEX in 75 QUESTIONS!

Published

Hello All! This is my first post despite me searching for articles on here. This is why I decided to post my journey to see if I could help anyone! The computer shut off at 75 and I was conflicted I knew I had known some material throughout and I almost expected shutting off at 75. However, after I started obsessing and my confidence went down hill when I started looking at blogs after, DO NOT DO THIS! This really messed me up, had me doubting myself. It is enough anxiety waiting for test results. Now how I prepared, I am from Cali and it took me FOREVER to get my ATT I mean four months forever so in the meantime I didn't want to use all my kaplan. So I bought UWORLD and it was the best decision. UWORLD has way better explanations. I also had my kaplan textbook content review book and I would add notes in there if they were missing that piece of information for both UWORLD and kaplan. When I started using kaplan i still had some UWORLD left so I would alternate but do a minimum of 75 questions a day. When I did start kaplan I was amazed how improved my scores were. I credit that to UWORLD. Feel free to ask me anything except anything specific from the test

Congrats on passing nclex!! I take my test in 3 days. Question.....did you think uworld was more difficult or easier than nclex? I'm averaging 59% in the 7th percentile with uworld. Thanks!!

Thanks! I honestly think as long as your averaging above 50% thats good, they do recommend above 60 but you are almost there. A lot of people told me UWORLD was harder and TBH in my opinion it was the same difficulty. Just like with UWORLD there was some I knew for sure and some that I was iffy on, same thing. These tests make you critically think, just trust yourself. I didn't take any breaks but i did stop to just deep breathe and try to stay calm through it. Stay positive and you will do great!

Thank you!!! I'll remember to breathe and try to stay calm!

I have a question about ATT? I got my eligibility last month from the BON CA and I created an account at the pearsonvue.com. However, I didn't pay the registration fee of 200 dollars yet. That means, I won't be able to get my ATT without paying the 200 dollars?

No ATT, till you pay the fee... Mine came through about 20 minutes after I paid.

What are you waiting for?

What State did you apply??? I am not ready to take the exam yet... thats why I'm not paying the 200 dollars..

I'm in California. Don't worry. Paying will only give you the ATT, not a test date. You choose your own test date separately.

You should pay now and get your ATT! I know people that waited till they were "ready," only to NOT get their ATT, but find out that the BRN had other requirements or fixes they needed with their application. This delayed actually getting their ATT for months. If you do not pay, you will not know if you need to correct/fix/resubmit anything--which will then delay your test invariably.

Or, you pay now, immediately get the ATT, and you can schedule later when you are ready.

The longer you wait, the more opportunity they have to lose or mix up your application and files. One of the people I was referring to sent in hard copies and digital copies of the application only to learn that they had somehow lost his photo... he resubmitted the photo through email and US mail, and is still waiting for an ATT a month later.

Thank you for the info..

Congratulations on passing! I passed mine with 80 questions, lol

SOOOOOO haaapppyyyyyy!!!!! Best wishes with everything!!!!

Congrats!! How long before your test did you start doing the kaplan questions? And what were your scores for Kaplan q trianers and qbank?

Thank you so much! I'm soooo happy. 3 months before, between 40-60%
