I'm preparing for Health and Safety. I haven't been admitted as of yet, so I'm doing what I can beforehand. Anxiously awaiting their approval. :) Congrats on getting NC7 down, too! Woohoo!

 Now which one is that under the old curriculum?

Good Luck to you. You will do great! Traci:)

CONGRATS!!!! NC3 looks harder than it really is. There are a lot a subjects for one test but the upside is your stronger areas should carry you because of the % of each section. Check the study guide and use it to focus your studying. You got the 1st one done, that is the big step!!

 Here is the scoop. I take NC3 on 10/17. I will be off from work between 10-19 and 10-28, because I have NC4 scheduled 10/29, so I thought being off it will be like 2 days of study each day. Do you think this is possible? I am so scared, and on one of the yahoo groups someone had put info. about their workshop, and said that VA. and GA and people under the old curriculum had to be finished by 09. I thought the date for the 2 states was 12/09. I thought that we, under the old curriculum,(Yes that would be me):(had to have our Concept exams only completed by 10/09.

We don't have to have CPNE done by then also do we? Please anybody???

I am stressing really bad.:sniff:...Traci, LOL! yes I feel like I am talking to my self as well. What is even funnier is that we are both from texas and Night nurses. Except...You are an RN now,and I am still an LVN. Anyway...Crazy,huh? Where did you take your CPNE? I forgot. Traci:confused:

With some serious study time you should be good to take your tests on those dates. I did mine 4 weeks apart but feel like it could be done 2 weeks apart. I took the CPNE in Racine, WI. Nice small hospital nice patients and staff also great places to chart. I hear Plano and Amarillo are nice too, but twice the size. I bet this time next year there will be 2 Traci RN's on all nurses. I would post your date and time to completion question on the excelsiors EPN you should get accurate info there. Good luck let me know how NC 3 and 4 go.

Traci,RN...Thanks so much for the advice to post my question on the EPN site. I will let you know how those two tests go. Thanks for the words of wisdom and the ego boost about being an RN this time next year. I hope I am at least waiting for boards, and I will be happy. Traci,LVN

Congrats Traci! I passed Health Safety on Mon too! I'm studying for Chronicity too.
