My employer has a loan program and they pay for your class up front ($300), and deduct $25 out of your check until it's paid for.
I paid for mine myself, I knew a position would be opening up around the time I was done, so I paid for it myself and saved $100. I took it at a vo-tech. The class I would have taken if the facility paid for it wouldn't have been finished in time and positions don't open up here very often. I had to take advantage of the opportunity.

I took my exam yesterday and passed with an 89%!!!
The woman in the computer lab said that's a lot higher than most people get that test there. I'm a little bit of an overachiever so I was a little disappointed in my score, wish I had at least gotten in the 90's, but I'm SO glad it's over and done with!!
The things that got me the most were questions that wanted to know the side effects to a particular drug, I was doing good just to know the generic names. There were 2, I think, that I just did NOT know, and about 5 I was second guessing myself on! Lol! It's a lot of information in a short amount of time and I had no idea what exactly I'd be tested on, so I studied everything!
Should be training on the cart Monday or Tuesday so I am SO EXCITED!!!
Ready to get off the floor & looking forward to my next paycheck!!
