Goodluck Dyan. The listening and reading sections are usually the easiest. Just continue doing practice tests.

For the writing section. Just keep it simple esp. if you are not sure what term to use but do avoid repeating terms you have used already and use a synonym instead.

For the speaking section, try to relax and converse as naturally as you can w/ the one doing the speaking section. There are no wrong or right answer.

I'm sure there will be more posters to share their experience and advice.

Goodluck. :wink2:

I had my IELTS in London, I was expecting a modern equipment for the Listening part but it turned out to be an old sound system. I was a little bit far from the machine and I could barely hear the audio.

Hope you won't get that problem. Good luck.

In the Phil, the listening, reading and writing part is done in a hotel and w/ relatively good audio where ever you seat. They also assign a seating place alphabetically so the applicants dont have a choice.

hey i'm also taking my ielts this coming 28. I'm also having a hard time in speaking. But i'm still practicing my speaking skills. Let's hope and pray that we will pass. Goodluck to you and me.

:monkeydance: just make sure during speaking, speak slowly, very articulate and understandable. i did not undergo any review programs but i passed IELTS, i did not even practice my writing skills but i get a high score band, so just relax and believe to yourself. i guess no one fails in this english exam as long as you know how to understand english. goodluck

Focus on the speaking part especially when you're not articulate or not used to speak English on everyday basis...Try to speak English everyday as much as you can and it would help if you would reheorifice yourself answering questions especially the complicated questions, however, just be natural during the interview, dont sound as if you had memorized your answers, you would be given a lower credit for that..
