Congratulations on passing!You should start job hunting now and don't wait for the registry.Good luck.Happy to announce that I passed! I read horror stories of people not passing for skipping simple steps so I was stressing a bit. The only step I forgot--out of all 5 skills--was to close the curtain for one of the skills. The candidate testing with me forgot several steps for one of the skills (positioning me on my side) and needed prodding by the evaluator ("Look again and make sure you're not forgetting something"...."Are you sure you're finished with all the steps?" etc etc) when she was dressing me but she passed as well. I was surprised she passed with so many missed steps. I guess it really depends on the evaluator. Now to wait for my name to show up on the registry so I can start applying for jobs. :-)

+1 on the congrats! :w00t::bowingpur
And, +1 on not waiting - around here ("here" being California) you don't necessarily need to be certified to work as an NA/Orderly/Tech; typically they'll hire you & then you have x number of months to get your cert. Apply & show them whatever paperwork you have to prove you've completed your testing/program/whatever, then go for it!

Thanks everyone for the congratulations! It only took a few days to get my name on the registry so I'm all set:yelclap:. I'm starting the first round of applications through the healthcare system that my school is affiliated with, which requires the state registry # on the application. If nothing comes from that, then I'll start branching out. Hoping to post an "I got a job!" post soon!
