I have been studying Kaplan and had done all the Trainer Questions and almost done with the Q-Bank questions. I am wondering if anyone passed the NCLEX-RN first time by ONLY doing the Trainer Questions and Q-Bank questions (read all rationales for each question) WITHOUT watching the Videos On Demand and reading their thick Kaplan book that comes with the program????
I will take the NCLEX-RN next week and only had done Trainers (1-7) & Q-Banks (62% average) & read every single question's rationale. Every day I do 100 questions - 150 questions and read all rationales (feel like doing 200 -300 questions a day).
Thank you for your responses!

that is exactly what i did with kaplan, but your scores are 7% higher than mine. And i failed last week...
Thank you for your respond nneokill175!! What did you get for Train 6 & 7? Did you take them couple days before the NCLEX-RN? Did you do anything else besides Kaplan? I just rescheduled my test. I have to watch the Content Videos then.

I passed NCLEX first time.
I did not take the KAPLAN course. I skimmed the Kaplan book, skimmed my notes and took the test.
NCLEX is not a test of knowledge, its a test of your common sense.

I did. I did my best during my program, tore out the pages with the Decision Tree in them and gave away the rest of the book.
For my NCLEX-PN, I did not use any study books other than my notes from the program.
No one NCLEX review system is necessary to pass.

I passed NCLEX with minimal studying. I didn't do a review class because I didn't have time with work. Starting on Sunday(took NCLEX on Thurs) I did one Kaplan trainer(#1 I believe) and then did about 500 questions between the Evolve site and Saunders. I had 75 questions, finished in 40ish min and almost half my test was alternative type questions. I think you have to know yourself and your testing abilities and go from there
