has anyone applied to pasadena's rn program for fall 2013? has anyone been accepted into east pasadena's rn program? if so what was your pre-reqs grades? mines aren't all that great that's why i am so worried i will not get in because my pre-reqs gpa is only 2.79...do i even have a chance at getting in? please advise...so stressed out im not a bad student... i just don't have the time to study like im supposed to...i am a working full time single mother with two children and couldn't dedicate my time to so much studying...i was lucky if i even got 10 hours of studying a week
AMEN TO THAT! I agree, you should see the Pierce College thread, so far its just 3 of us!
Where is everybody? I find myself back on Pasadena's page just because there's so much camaraderie and excitement among everyone who got in! lol That's so great! It makes me want to get a calendar in PCC Lancer Red too...and I didn't even get in!
I'm still secretly hoping you end up here :)
My uncalendar came in the mail today... I'm pretty excited!
It's funny; although none of us current students are annoyed hearing about other schools, I wonder if the spring 2013 applicants who will scour the previous application topics will be annoyed haha too bad for them!
When is your orientation for pierce?

Aww, thank you!! Me too! This place feels like Cheers! Everyone knows everyone!
I still don't know the "official" orientation date for Pierce yet, they're supposed to send out our information packets in June...but, of course I want to want to know all the details now! So far all I know is all my immunizations and required lab work has to be done no sooner than 3 months before the program start date August 26th but must be completed by August 16th. So, just have that on my calendar so far.
I think the spring 2013 applicants will be thinking "PCC sounds awesome!" and will go through the same nail biting nerves and allnurses post stalking that we all have...and continue to do (guilty). :)
Oops, wait a minute...it is spring 2013, so I think I mean 2014.

That is good to know about the whole 3 months thing... I bet its the same for every school. Yeah, PCC should be sending out orientation info next week sometime but I wanna know now! The other two schools I got into already gave out their info packets... I could be getting started already!

Hahaha!! Love it!:) Gosh, I hope there's cool people in my program at Pierce! (Why PCC? Why?!)
I know, I want to get started on all my requirements too! I think the 3 months back thing is pretty standard, and probably a good thing too. Make sure everyone is well and vaccinated before any clinicals.
Do you know what hospitals you're doing your clinicals at for Pasadena?

A few pages back, rebeccles put up a link to a previous topic that listed most of the clinical sites. I am super excited :)
I'm sure Pierce will have awesome people, too. Maybe they just haven't heard of AN!
