Pasadena City College RN program

Hi,

I've heard that it's not recommended to work while enrolled as a student in an RN program. I'm applying for the Spring Semester at PCC and while I do intend to leave my current employer should I be accepted, I was wondering if there were people who made the attempt to work part-time or possibly in the summer.

Any opinions?

ha ha ha yes....for never meeting! i do have those qualities so you werent lying! so what does he ask? i am a very hands on kind of jump in person and this experience would be key to my future as an RN (IF I GET IN!!!! WE GET IN!!!)

LOL Beachbedhead and Atar... you guys worry too much! ya'll are making me nervous! lol...worry is just going to bring you more negativity. What's going to happen is going to happen and we don't have much control over it at this point.Negative thoughts are like birds..Let them stay in the sky and fly over your head, don't let them build nests in your hair. I know I know :( we should try yoga? Maybe focus on our breathing and RELAX!!!! Maybe?? But thanks Mag!!! You will get the job!! I hope :) just practice the things we talked about! I'm sure you've never had to prepare this much for an interview lol but hopefully it helps!! And I wanna hear ALL the feedback!!!

Hopefully this will take ur mind off of PCC a little bit?

Lol my uncle that was a manager for years gave me some good tips for the interview tomorrow...i am also going to send a thank you card....good idea eh?

Yes I just got to walk in and have confidence that I already have the job and just need to do the interview!

So what dis you wear to the interview? I'm thinking nice slacks and a nice blouse?

Ya that's exactly what I wore! And that's exactly right! Don't be nervous because your more prepared than anyone he might have interviewed! So def feel that confidence!
