Pasadena City College 2017 LVN

Published

Hello everyone. I know it's a little early but I wanted to know if anyone is planning on applying to the LVN program when applications open up in March? I'd love to wait it out together!

Oh no that's terrible I'm sorry to hear that how did you do I didn't do so well either on the RN TEAS I got a 72 I believe it's higher than the 58 needed but at least I passed but as long as your score is higher than 58 you're good.

I got a 72. Not that great but I passed the RN TEAS, which they count for LVN. What were your grades in the prerequisite courses I was selected as an alternate so I'm waiting to see if people didn't pass the TEAS so I could get a spot.

Hi my pre requisite was a 4.0 and cumulative was around 3.5. how about you?

You must be applying to RN programs??? Why are you applying to PCC LVN with 4.0. I'd say apply to the RN program... You'd get straight into LA county with a 4.0. I have a 3.23 Overall, and a 3.0 in A&P and micro.

i only applied to GCC and PCC RN programs last semester. Got rejected from GCC cuz it was based on a lottery. As for PCC, haven't heard a word from them. A forum on this site suggests others also haven't heard from the RN program in PCC, which pretty much means we got rejected.

Are you now applying to the LVN program at PCC. Its crazy how good your gpa is and you're getting rejected from nursing school. This nursing struggle is real! I was rejected from a few schools so I ended up applying to PCC LVN school because if you complete lvn at PCC you have a guaranteed spot in the RN program as long as your prerequisites are completed, you basically go straight into RN its all just 2 years.

Yep, that's why I applied to this program. I knew about that perk long ago and applied at the same time as the RN programs. Might have to wait a year before bridging to rn program though, given that the program ends next year end of July and the last day to submit the LVN - RN bridge application is first week of July.

So you are actually in, congratulations!!!! I was selected as an alternate. So I'm waiting for a spot. If nothing opens, I'll be there next year. Can you please keep me posted on when they send out orientation letters... I'm hoping the letters were pending the TEAS results.

Maybe I'll get an orientation email the same time as you... I hear a lot of students didn't pass the LVN TEAS... so I'm just waiting for that email tooo. Please keep me posted. I'll do the same.
