  1. Hello...just wanted to let you know...I'll see you at orientation yayyyyy. I received my email today, and rushed the intent form back lol. So excited and scared at the same time.
  2. OK awesome. ..glad you understood my last post. I was at the gym on the treadmill trying to reply without passing out. Good luck with orientation.
  3. It's OK everything happens for a reason if I'm meant to start fall 2017 I'll start with you guys. :) email said I have till Aug 21st to found out. If in the orientation you hear anyone is an alternate let me know. Thank you for the updates. Idk how soon the orientation is but keep me posted.
  4. Was it today? Ugh I haven't gotten any information on alternates replacing those who didn't pass the TEAS.
  5. Maybe I'll get an orientation email the same time as you... I hear a lot of students didn't pass the LVN TEAS... so I'm just waiting for that email tooo. Please keep me posted. I'll do the same.
  6. So you are actually in, congratulations!!!! I was selected as an alternate. So I'm waiting for a spot. If nothing opens, I'll be there next year. Can you please keep me posted on when they send out orientation letters... I'm hoping the letters were pending the TEAS results.
  7. Are you now applying to the LVN program at PCC. Its crazy how good your gpa is and you're getting rejected from nursing school. This nursing struggle is real! I was rejected from a few schools so I ended up applying to PCC LVN school because if you complete lvn at PCC you have a guaranteed spot in the RN program as long as your prerequisites are completed, you basically go straight into RN its all just 2 years.
  8. I'm in a similar situation so I totally understand! I just turned 34 and I'm a single mom who has devoted myself to becoming a nurse. I've applied to RN programs, LVN programs that guaranteed a space in the second year RN program but still I stay stagnant. I'm just so ready to buy a house, just really start a new chapter. Getting into nursing school it's terribly hard and even more so for us CA residents. More people more competition. Good luck to you. At least next year you'll be doing your RN. Next year for me I'll only be on the first year of nursing. Good luck!
  9. You must be applying to RN programs??? Why are you applying to PCC LVN with 4.0. I'd say apply to the RN program... You'd get straight into LA county with a 4.0. I have a 3.23 Overall, and a 3.0 in A&P and micro.
  10. Oh no that's terrible I'm sorry to hear that how did you do I didn't do so well either on the RN TEAS I got a 72 I believe it's higher than the 58 needed but at least I passed but as long as your score is higher than 58 you're good.
  11. Oh no that's terrible I'm sorry to hear that...
  12. I got a 72. Not that great but I passed the RN TEAS, which they count for LVN. What were your grades in the prerequisite courses I was selected as an alternate so I'm waiting to see if people didn't pass the TEAS so I could get a spot.
  13. I'm so interested to know if spots will open up today due to some not passing the TEAS.
  14. Don't worry, it's only because of your CNA certificate. You'll get into one of the other schools, and if not apply to PCC. I only say continue to apply to PCC because once you complete the LVN you have a guaranteed stop in the RN Program, I don't know any school that has that perk.
  15. How did it go? did everyone pass????? or did you even talk to anyone to know if they passed. I'm assuming it was the computer version and the results were received instantly.
