Hello all! I am starting a new thread for PCC LVN to RN career ladder program. I applied again for the second time. This is for the July application cycle with a start during the Winter intersession. Would like to know who else applied to this program. Good luck to all! :)

OMG guys we're getting closer ?Does anyone else need to take a CPR class? The card I have isn't accepted because it's not through AHA ?
Noo
But here's a link for the place I went too, I recommend it Sunrise CPR
It's in pasadena, the guy is really easy and the classes are quick and a reasonable price.
He usually does a couple a week, and they're AHA
How much are you guys paying for the student insurance? Mine is $104. When I get the estimate for an RN student and I mention my license it happens to be the same exact cost as what I pay for my lvn license insurance by itself, as a student only its like $25. I hate to pay double but I have to mention my license so I guess that's how they price it. I haven't checked to see if it's possible to just update my current policy

I think I paid about $27, but that was student RN only no LVN license on it
guys, where did you take your TEAS and how? im trying to look at it, there's nothing remotely close. there is an In Person proctored by PSI but cant register. I prefer in person because I don't know if my internet will just randomly drop or just the neighborhood noise might throw me off.

I took my proctored exam at Rio Hondo college and it was free. They offer in person or remote testing but you're right about the internet connection. Also if you do it remotely they have you do a dry run a fews days before to check internet connection.
Some schools will invite you to take the TEAS if you apply and will not accept a previous ATI test done elsewhere. Make sure to check the school's requirements.
