I was wondering if anyone applied there. I also applied to:
CSUEB
Los Angeles Pierce
Los Angeles Valley (once their apps open on April 11th maybe)
LA county Allied health
COC (I really doubt I get in because I did 2 attempts on the teas)
Glendale Community college
STATS:
OVERALL SCIENCE GPA (3.33)
OVERALL GPA (3.56)
TEAS VI: 72.7%
I know it's early, but I want an early start. I just need to get into a nursing program before my pre-req expire :/ My best bet so far for me is Allied health, GCC, Pasadena, and maybe Pierce
I would say very likely because PCC sent out their admission emails 6 weeks late. Most people have already committed to their programs. How many points did you have?Hi, I know I'm joining this discussion really late but, today I received an email stating that I was selected as an alternate. Would any of you guys happen to know how that works and what the likely hood of me being given a spot is?

From what I read, you're on a wait list. If you're first you'll take the spot of someone who was originally accepted and declined PCC. The list keeps on moving and so on.
If you dont mind me asking, what was your score total?
@cjprenurse Why were you confused? and how many points did you have if you don't mind me asking
Because it didn't say my alt number and the whole how once you receive an email saying your in you have 24 hrs to respond. I honestly don't know how many puts. I have clinical experience but no license and I only have my Associates. I got a 72.7 on the TEAS.
I also got credit for being first generation college student and all that jazz

its a good thing though, you at least got an email. Did you do good on the TEAS? i didn't do so good and thats the one of the reasons why id probably wouldn't make it, also having a bachelors helps out too, its 20 points alone for having a bachelors while an associates its just 5.
