I was wondering if anyone applied there. I also applied to:
CSUEB
Los Angeles Pierce
Los Angeles Valley (once their apps open on April 11th maybe)
LA county Allied health
COC (I really doubt I get in because I did 2 attempts on the teas)
Glendale Community college
STATS:
OVERALL SCIENCE GPA (3.33)
OVERALL GPA (3.56)
TEAS VI: 72.7%
I know it's early, but I want an early start. I just need to get into a nursing program before my pre-req expire :/ My best bet so far for me is Allied health, GCC, Pasadena, and maybe Pierce
Did you just finish the RN course at PCC? How did you feel about the program overall? Did you ever take the Nursing Boot Camp course before you started? I'm wondering about it.
We're you asking me? You'll have to go back and read my posts because I'm on mobile and frankly, do not feel like typing everything over again. I did not do the boot camp because I was an LVN going into the program. The program is hard and disorganized, but I'm sure everyone complains about their nursing school. PCC was the only school I applied to so I couldn't be picky. And complaining wont boost grades so i had to suck it up and give up a portion of my life just to pass.
i have not received anything and ive been callinf and no response.Frankly i gave up and going to orientation july 5
I haven't heard anything about the orientation meeting on July 5th. Is that for accepted students for Fall 2017 at PCC or something else? Where did you find info about the orientation?

I didn't know about an orientation on July 5 and don't see anything on the PCC website. Can you tell me how you heard about this? Is it for accepted students in the Fall 2017 PCC program?
Thanks, I was told the same thing by the receptionist last week. Good luck to you!I have some news for you guysThe director of the nursing program came jnin today since it was our first day. We were told that they haven't made decisions for the RN fall 2017 program. They anticipate making decisions by the end of the week.

Thank you for that information. I hope to find out soon so we can have our orientation meeting and learn what we need to do to get ready for the program!

I called earlier this week and was told that selections would be made at the end of the month. However, I know PCC sends acceptances first then informs waitlisters/rejections a couple weeks afterwards. I don't personally know anyone with a high score (80+ points) that applied so I can't tell if acceptance letters were already sent.
