I was wondering if anyone applied there. I also applied to:
CSUEB
Los Angeles Pierce
Los Angeles Valley (once their apps open on April 11th maybe)
LA county Allied health
COC (I really doubt I get in because I did 2 attempts on the teas)
Glendale Community college
STATS:
OVERALL SCIENCE GPA (3.33)
OVERALL GPA (3.56)
TEAS VI: 72.7%
I know it's early, but I want an early start. I just need to get into a nursing program before my pre-req expire :/ My best bet so far for me is Allied health, GCC, Pasadena, and maybe Pierce
Just some stats for you, 17 students failed 3rd semester and 2 failed 4th semester. About 50% have BA/B.S. degrees or are concurrently enrolled at the CSULA collaborative. They do prefer students with BA/B.S. because Methodist hospital won't take Associate degree students any more and PCC is the only community college they'll accept but students rotating there must have a higher degree or in the collaborative. We had commencement last night. Also, PCC is trying to get rid of their pinning ceremony (the whole thing was rushed anyways, and some of the faculty looked like they didn't care to be there anyways :/ ) plus only 5 of us attended commencement because the students only care to attend the pinning ceremony.
How many honor students were there at the end of your cohort? i.e 4.0 GPAs, 3.5+ GPAs, etc.Just some stats for you, 17 students failed 3rd semester and 2 failed 4th semester. Are you completing the RN Program at PCC now? I have a conflict for the Nursing Boot Camp course they recommend and wondered if you took it and if you feel it helped you a lot?

Looks like PCC is requiring the TEAS for all future applicants now including individuals with a BS/BA. They've updated their "Admission Information" page for Spring 2018. They probably implemented this to lower the number of applicants per application cycle. I'm sure this change makes it even more difficult to get into PCC's RN program
