   Oops, sorry. That was supposed to be in response to another comment about the pass rate at PCC. The numbers that were posted made it look like the retention and program pass rate were high. Last year almost 20 students failed 3rd semester.

   Don't give up hope of you are a alternate. I'm assuming due to the late notifications a lot of people will turn down their spots. Start reviewing NCLEX questions :-)

   PCC does not give you your place on the alternate list. You just have to sit back and wait for the call. There were students admitted 2 weeks before the program started last semester.

   I got the call pretty early on. You stand a good chance!! I have my CNA but no work experience. Not sure if that changes my point value.

   I don't remember the exact points # but Bachelors degree 3.5 prereq gpa 3.3 overall CNA Volunteer experience I was an alternate.
