Waiting on LAPC. Alternate for COC but have yet to hear back. :/ currently looking at WCU. I'm really just looking to move forward. How about you?

I'm an alternate at GCC and still waiting to hear back from Lavc. GCC has a mandatory intro to nursing intro lol it's all summer long. Alternates must attend as well. I was kinda hoping to start in the fall, not the summer so I'm really hoping I get into Lavc!

Good luck to you guys with the other schools! Congrats on the alternate spots as well. I only applied to PCC this time around. I started my prerequisites there almost 5 years ago and for some reason I never took chemistry so I need to take that to be eligible for other schools. It took me so long because I had my third child 2 years ago.

It took me so long because I had my third child 2 years ago.

I know now how you feel!since I started my journey in 2009 I've popped out two kids. I managed to obtain my cNA cert, work full time at one hospital and work per diem at another, all the while still attending classes each semester full or part time. Last semester I could have applied but chose not to because I just had my son. He's 5 months old now so I'm ready for it. My 4 year old is my inspiration to keep going.

Hello everyone! I applied to PCC both RN and LVN programs.. Haven't heard back yet. Although from reading your posts I'm guessing I will be getting a rejection letter anytime soon ðŸ˜ kinda expect it since pierce also rejected me. Anyone else applied to the Lvn program? I do still have some hope there..

Has anyone else heard from PCC RN/LVN??? I still haven't gotten any email... Plus I called on Thursday and they told me I should be getting something today but I didn't. I have a feeling they're all rejection letters. ðŸ˜¢has anyone gotten accepted recently??!

Mes7kk I think most of the people who posted to this forum applied to the generic ADN program. Not the RN/LVN. Maybe you could start a new forum with a title to attract others who have applied to that particular program to get more insight on what might be going on or maybe try calling PCC. The student worker told me that some times mistakes happen and not all emails reach their destination. Now would be a good time to call to make sure your email mistakenly didn't reach you.

Thanks sam! I did apply to the generic adn program AND lvn as well that's why I said it that way ðŸ˜… and I actually did call on Thursday and they told me I should be getting an email any day now but I will call Monday again. But thanks!

Hi I was wondering if you were able to get a hold of anyone? I too applied for the generic RN program and have not received any kind of notification/response regarding my status Like you had said from a post earlier maybe at this point it's a rejection letter-which I can deal with I just need some closure so I could look into other options. I tried calling but got a voicemail :unsure:
