Pasadena City College ADN Program Fall 2021

Hello all. I wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to the RN program at PCC this fall. The application period is 4/1-4/15. I applied in the Spring and was an alternate so I retook a course to get 5 more points. I believe I will have 85 now. I saw that the website says we need to resubmit our transcripts each time we apply. Does anyone know if this to the admissions office as well, or just uploading them to our application? Thank you and good luck!

So the guy says he has to respond by May 21st. It looks like they are sending out acceptances in batches...

I wonder why its so strange. The guy couldnt be an alternate no? Or someone already give up their spot so the next spot goes to him? Who knows

Yeah, it was likely that somebody just immediately turned down their acceptance so they sent out another email to someone.

I feel for those of you that didn't get in. I was trying for years also and I think at this point it's just a game of luck. I hope you don't give up and know that your time will come as well. 

For those who did get in, do you know if anybody started a facebook group?

I just called again to see if maybe I’d get a more definitive answer and I was told what we all already knew, all acceptances have already been sent out and all 800 non-acceptances will be sent out shortly. ?

I just received an email that I am an alternate. I have 85 points.

It does not say what number I am on the list.

If a spot opens up, they will email me and I have 24 hours to accept or they  move down the list.

I received it to my personal email.

Is there anyone who didn't received alternate email? I have 85pts too... but didn't received ?

I got the alternate letter also. how many alternate they have?

They have a long list, last time I was an alternaye and they told me 20 plus

Hi, does anyone know what to do after we sent our student info and acceptance response? Do we just wait until they send the RN handbook packet?

So happy to report I JUST got an email that I was selected as an alternate! YESSSS!! ?I will continue praying! Congrats (again) to all who've gotten in! I am sooo excited!! ?
